Over the years I've been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel a bit and learn from many great teachers around the world. My intention for this blog is to share what I've learned in the realm of parenting and raising children. I hope that what you find here has as meaningful an impact on you and your families as it's had on mine.
A globally minded child grows into an adult who:
* respects him/herself and others
* works cooperatively rather than competitively
* works cooperatively rather than competitively
* has a healthy mind and body
* respects the environment and the laws of nature
* does not indulge in their own gain at the expense of
another
* values connection over collection (people more important
than money)
* is aware of their gifts and talents
* is comfortable expressing their creativity
* stands for causes, rather than against causes
* understands there is no them, only us.
it's all about connection...
