I love this time of year and even though in these parts it does not really mean cooler temps yet- it is cooler than it was in August though...

Have a very Happy Halloween! Tonight for dinner before hittin' the candy we're having Witch's Stew (veggie soup) with witch's fingers- whole grain breadsticks shaped into witch's fingers- crooked with moles and an almond as the fingernail. This makes a perfect warm, quick meal to get the fun started!
And of course we'll eat by candlelight.
